Tickets and payments

How do I get my ticket?

After Paystack confirms payment, NairaEvents creates your ticket and sends the ticket link to the email used at checkout.

I paid but did not receive my ticket. What should I do?

Use Find tickets with the payment email first. If it still does not appear, contact support with your event name, email, and payment reference.

Can I buy a ticket without creating an account?

Yes. Guests can buy tickets without signing up. Use the same email later to recover tickets.

How does QR check-in work?

Show your ticket QR code at the gate. Scanner teams validate tickets once, so the same ticket cannot be used twice.

Free and invite-only events

How do free events work?

If free tickets are available, guests can get a ticket without payment.

How do invite requests work?

For invite-only events, guests submit a request. The organizer reviews it and sends an entry pass if approved.

Why can’t I request an invite for every event?

Invite requests only appear when the organizer enables them for that event.

Organizers and vendors

How do organizers get paid?

Organizers add a payout account, request withdrawals from their available balance, and get paid after approval.

What commission does NairaEvents charge?

NairaEvents charges 5% commission on paid ticket sales only. Free events have no commission.

How do vendors get listed?

Vendors create a vendor profile, add service details, and publish the profile when ready.
